Gardens, Architecture and Art
Experience seven diverse gardens in six Mill Valley neighborhoods, spanning an English country garden in Homestead Valley, a hilltop vista in Almonte, an urban farmhouse and an architect’s garden in Alto-Sutton, a Mediterranean edible-ornamental garden in Scott Valley, a modern medley in Enchanted Knolls and a pocket paradise in Sycamore Park. The tour begins when you board a shuttle departing from the Outdoor Art Club's 1904 Bernard Maybeck designed Clubhouse in downtown Mill Valley, California.
Be inspired by landscape architect and owner-designed spaces on large and small properties, with both edible and ornamental gardens.
Learn about compatible, beautiful plantings that work in various microclimates and take home ideas and information for your own garden.
Enjoy watching plein air artists in the gardens as they express their vision and interpretation of the gardens with paint and canvas.
Visit the historic Outdoor Art Club to savor your pre-ordered lunch, shop for home and garden items and bid on fine wines, dining, vacations and more at our silent auction.
Proceeds from the garden tour benefit the charitable outreach of the Outdoor Art Club, a private, nonprofit women's organization, and the preservation of its historic landmark building in downtown Mill Valley.
